Privacy Policy

SathsServices LLC (“we”, “us”) operates US Hindu Rituals, including the website ushindurituals.com, the iOS app, and the Android app (together, the “Services”). Priest services are provided by Sri Shyam Sharma.

This policy explains what information the Services collect, how we use it, and how you can ask us to delete it. It is written for visitors of the website and for people who install the app from the Apple App Store or Google Play.

We collect only what we need to show panchangam, answer questions, and arrange poojas.

• Location, while you use the app. If you allow it, the iOS and Android apps read your device location only while the app is open, so today’s panchangam can be shown for your city. You can deny this permission. The app then uses a default city you can change. We do not track your location in the background.
• Pooja booking details. Name, phone number, email, address or city, preferred date and time, pooja type, and any note you type (including family names for sankalpam).
• Messages you send us. Contact messages and chat questions. On the website, signed-in chat may also include birth date, birth time, and birth place when you ask for a chart, plus saved charts tied to your account.
• Account details, on the website. If you sign in with Google, we receive your email address and a sign-in identifier through our authentication provider. Vendor listings may also include business name, category, service area, phone numbers, and profile text. The iOS and Android apps do not require an account.
• Reviews. The name, place, and text you submit with a testimonial.
• Website usage. The website uses Google Analytics to see which pages are opened, on a general device and browser level. The iOS and Android apps do not show ads and do not use Apple’s advertising identifier (IDFA) or similar cross-app tracking.

• Show panchangam, festivals, muhurtam, and related timings for a place.
• Receive and confirm pooja requests, and contact you about them.
• Reply to chat and contact messages, and save charts you ask us to keep.
• Operate vendor accounts and publish approved vendor listings.
• Understand how the website is used and keep the Services secure.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use it for third-party advertising.

We share information only with services that help us run US Hindu Rituals:

• Supabase, for website sign-in and vendor records.
• Google, for Google sign-in, Google Sheets booking records, and website analytics.
• FormSubmit, as an email backup when a booking cannot be saved to our sheet.
• OpenStreetMap Nominatim and Open-Meteo, only if the app needs a city name or time zone for the location you allowed.
• WhatsApp, only when you choose to open a chat with us.

We may also share information if the law requires it, or to protect our users, the priest, or the Services.

Booking, contact, and account records are kept for as long as we need them to provide the service and for ordinary business records. Chat and saved charts stay with your website account until you delete them or ask us to. Location used for panchangam is used to answer that request and is not kept as a location history for advertising.

• Turn off location for the app in iOS Settings or Android Settings at any time.
• Email poojariusa@gmail.com to see, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you, including a website account, saved charts, vendor profile, booking, or review. We will delete it unless we must keep a copy for legal or accounting reasons.
• Uninstalling the app removes it from your device. Email us to delete server records.

The Services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child sent us personal information, email us and we will delete it.

We use HTTPS and limit access to booking and account records. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure. The Services are operated from the United States. If you use them from another country, your information will be processed in the United States.

If we change this policy, we will update the date above and post the new version at this same address. Continued use of the Services after that date means you accept the updated policy.
